Super Bowl Ring Returned to NFL Legend NR11586cj

Los Angeles: Former Chicago Bear and Los Angeles Raider NFL receiver Willie Gault had his 1985 Super Bowl Ring stolen in a residential burglary on November 8, 2011.

On December 15, 2011, LAPD West Valley Burglary and Property Crimes Unit recovered the ring at a jewelry store in the 700 block of South Broadway within the Jewelry Mart District of Central Division. Also recovered were five stolen watches and a wedding ring. A 1983 Super Bowl ring was also taken into custody.  The LAPD is investigating to locate the rightful owner of that item. Detectives said that a source that deals in sports memorabilia contacted West Valley Burglary Detectives and advised that the ring had been seen at the store

The store owner, 46-year-old Ramin Cohan of Beverly Hills was arrested and booked at Valley Jail Section for Receiving Stolen Property (496 PC) with a bail amount of 20,000 dollars.
