WHY:            
During the news conference, Deputy Chief Michel Moore, will address recent crime activity in the San Fernando Valley and the Department's quick action to redeploy officers. Van Nuys area homicide detectives will also discuss the shooting that lead to the tragic death of 4-month-old     Andrew Garcia.
