| On July 14, 1997 the 26 year old suspect enticed an 11 year old Hispanic female child to leave home in Panorama City and accompany him to Mexico in a stolen vehicle. The investigation revealed an on-going sexual relationship between the suspect and victim. The suspect kept the victim in Mexico in hiding until April 11, 1998, while continuing their sexual relationship. The victim finally called home for relatives to retrieve her in Tijuana.
