Body Discovered on Van Nuys Street, Victim of Homicide

Los Angeles: On Tuesday April 8, 2003 at approximately 12:5O p.m., police officers from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Van Nuys Division responded to a "Death Investigation" radio call in the 7300 block of Woodman Avenue.
Upon the officer’s arrival, they located the body of a 36 year-old male Black suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his body. Los Angeles City Fire Department Paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
The motive for the shooting is currently unknown. The suspects(s) and weapon remain outstanding.
The identity of the victim will not be released until after his relatives have been notified.
