Graffiti-Painting Gang Member Shot and Killed by Rivals

Los Angeles: Los Angeles police detectives are asking for the public’s help in finding any witnesses who may have seen the shooting of a man in Van Nuys Wednesday evening.

On February 14, 2007, at about 6:50 p.m., Albert Chim, a 23-year-old Hispanic man, was in the 7200 block of Lennox Avenue, crossing out gang graffiti and replacing it with his own, when he was shot several times.

Chim was transported to a local hospital where he died a short time later. The suspects are described as three Hispanic males, 15 to 20 years old.
