Valley Traffic Division Hosts Fundraising Holiday Party

Fundraiser and Holiday party hosted by the Valley Traffic Division in Support of The Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and the Los Angeles Police Cancer Support Group

WHY:
The officers of Valley Traffic Division will be celebrating the holidays with co-workers, families and special guests. This year, the officers are inviting families in the community and within the LAPD that has been affected by cancer and ask asking them to support our fight against cancer.

The proceeds of this event will go to the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and the Los Angeles Police Cancer Support Group. Actor Joe Piscopo is the featured guest.

The Children’s Hospital treats over 62,000 patients in a year in its emergency department and is the home to the largest pediatric hematology/oncology program. Its doctors are recognized as leaders and its standard of care and treatment is recognized worldwide.

The Los Angeles Police Cancer Support Group is open to all law enforcement agency members and is comprised of cancer survivors, those currently in treatment and those who support them. This support group works towards helping families through the treatment and recovery process.
