Van Nuys Patrol Officers

WHY:
The Los Angeles Police Department’s Van Nuys Area officers will deliver toys collected from Kar 4 Kids (Kindness at Random) to needy families throughout the Van Nuys Area.  The program was developed by Van Nuys officers who understand the meaning of giving back to the community members who are in need.

Officers constantly come in contact with families who are truly in need of a helping hand.  The Van Nuys Area officers worked together to organize a holiday program called “Toys on Patrol”.  While on patrol, officers that see families in need during this holiday season will immediately call Santa Claus for a toy delivery.  Presents will not be available to distribute at Van Nuys Area station.

CONTACT:
Anyone can also donate to this great cause by bringing a new unwrapped toy to the Van Nuys Police Station.  For information about donating toys, please contact Officer Lydia Grzelkowska at (818)374-9415.
