Van Nuys: Detectives from the
Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Traffic Division are asking
for the public’s help in providing any information that would lead

and run collision that killed a 28-year-old man.

On April 30, 2017, around 12:00 a.m., a pedestrian was crossing
eastbound on Sepulveda Boulevard, north of Vanowen Street, outside
the marked crosswalk. He was hit by a dark colored 4-door sedan
traveling northbound Sepulveda Boulevard. The collision caused the
pedestrian to collide with the roadway, where he was struck by a

Street. The MTA driver immediately stopped the bus and remained at
scene during the investigation.

The dark colored 4-door sedan failed to stop, identify themselves
or render aide.
