Robbery Suspects caught on video NR17236sr

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles
Police Department’s Van Nuys Division Robbery Detectives are
seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two robbery
suspects.

On Sunday, August 6, 2017, around 7:10 a.m., a robbery occurred in
a convenience store located at the corner of Van Nuys Boulevard and
Valerio Street in Van Nuys. Two suspects entered the convenience
store and approached the cashier. Suspect one pointed a handgun at
the employee and demanded money from the cash register. Suspect two
stood in front of the cashier and demanded money while holding his
waistband. The suspects grabbed the money from the cash drawer and
fled on foot with the money.

Suspect one is described as a male black, black hair, brown eyes,
he stands about 5 feet and 5 inches tall, and weighs about 160
pounds, and is approximately 25 years of age. He was last seen
wearing a black sweatshirt with the words “Hawthorne California”
written on the front, and dark shorts.

Suspect two is described as a male black, black hair, brown eyes,
he stands about 5 feet 7 inches tall, and weighs about 180 pounds,
and is approximately 25 years of age. He was last seen wearing a
red sweatshirt with the words “Hawthorne California” written on the
front, and dark shorts.

Van Nuys Division Robbery Detectives are continuing the
investigation and are asking for the public’s help to locate any
possible witnesses to the crime.
