The Multi-Agency Cruiser Task Force is made up of personnel from the Los Angeles Police Department, California Highway Patrol, and the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. It was formed in an effort to reduce traffic congestion and illegal activity often associated with "cruising" along Sunset and Hollywood Boulevards during the busy summer months.

Over 50 officers have been dedicated to this task force. The officers will be utilizing enforcement activities and high visibility to ensure a safe and orderly experience for all during this bustling time of year.

Last year the Task Force was very successful in their efforts. They wrote 3,450 citations, impounded 450 vehicles, made 55-felony arrests and 198-misdemeanor arrest, maintained order and prevented any major incidents from occurring.
