Burglars Caught on Tape in West Los AngelesLos Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying two suspects who committed a burglary in an apartment building.
On August 13, 2009, at around 4 p.m., two suspects entered an apartment building located in the 1600 block of Barry Avenue in West Los Angeles. Once inside the complex they forced their way into the recreation room, removed a television and fled the location.
The first suspect is described as a male Hispanic or White, 18 to 22 years of age, dark hair and stocky build. He was also described as having a mustache and a goatee. He was wearing a blue shirt with a white design, dark pants and white sneakers.
The second suspect is described as a male White, 18 to 20 years of age, with short or shaven brown hair, and thin build. He was also described as wearing a dark-colored beanie with a yellow design, a horizontal dark and white striped shirt and tan pants.
Both men appear to be the same suspects that committed two apartment burglaries in the North Hollywood area and one apartment burglary in Van Nuys.
