West Valley Second Annual Bowling for Boosters Fundraising Event

WHAT:   
A special fundraising bowling competition open to the public that includes lunch, prizes, two games and rental of bowling shoes.  The event will benefit the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) West Valley Community Police Station.

WHEN:
March 28, 2010
12 p.m. – 4 p.m.

Canoga Park Bowling Lanes

District 3 Los Angeles City Councilman Dennis Zine
LAPD West Valley Area Captain John Egan
LAPD West Valley Area Officers
Local Event Sponsors (including the Gelb Group, Howard Sommers Towing, Vista Ford and more)

WHY:
To improve West Valley Area police services by raising funds for community services, materials and equipment not generally supplied by the City of Los Angeles, thereby increasing the effectiveness and morale of the officers to better serve the community. Highlights of the event include a 3 p.m. bowling competition between Capt. Egan and Councilman Zine, a silent auction and awarding of winner trophies.
