86-Year-Old Missing Man NR10553bb


Eddie Lowe, Jr. has been located at a Los Angeles hospital and was reunited with his family earlier today.  He was admitted to the hospital the day he was reported missing under the name John Doe, but was not positively identified as Eddie Lowe, Jr. until Thursday,
December 02, 2010. 

Los Angeles: 
The family of Eddie Lowe, Jr. and Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) detectives are asking for the public’s help in finding the 86-year-old missing man.

Lowe was last seen near the 2200 block of South Mansfield Avenue in the City of Los Angeles, and has not been seen or heard from since November 25, 2010.  Lowe may be in need of medical attention for a serious medical condition.

Lowe is described as a male Black with gray hair, brown eyes, and a gray beard.  He’s 6 feet tall and weighs 165 pounds.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Lowe is asked to call Missing Persons Unit at (213) 996-1800.  During non-business hours or on weekends, calls should be directed to 1-877-LAPD-24-7.  Anyone wishing to remain anonymous should call Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (800-222-8477).
