Sexual Batteries near UCLA Campus

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department's Sexual Assault Detail is investigating four connected sexual batteries that occurred in the past week near the campus of UCLA.

In all four incidents, a man walked up to each victim from behind, grabbed her in a "bear-hug," squeezed their breasts while restraining them, then ran away. According to investigators, no suspect vehicle was seen and the victims were not physically hurt.

The female victims are all in their early twenties and were in the areas of Landfair and Midvale and Kelton and Galey when the battery and took place.

The suspect is described as a male white in his early 20's, with long curly dark hair, standing 5'7" to 5'11" tall, weighing approximately 150-180 lbs.

Anyone with information is asked to contact West Bureau Sexual Assault Detail Officers Horton or Anchetta at 213-473-0447 or 213-473-0404. On weekends and during off-hours, call the 24-hour toll free number at 1-877-LAWFULL (1-877-529-3855).
