Currently, the West Traffic Division Reserve Unit conducts one or two operations per week, usually on Saturdays.

The following reserve programs are in effect at WTD:

• Crosswalk enforcement
• Registration enforcement
• Front license plate enforcement
• Vehicle lighting enforcement
• Vehicle impound assignments

This unit boasts an aggressive schedule that makes WTD Reserve Unit the most active reserve unit in the Department. This unit covers the areas of West Los Angeles, Wilshire, Pacific, and Hollywood on a rotational basis depending on enforcement needs.
