West Valley Volunteer Program

West Valley’s Volunteer Organization is comprised of approximately 225 active volunteers. Our volunteers are people who can communicate effectively with the public and are skillful in dealing with people who are seeking help and advice. Some of our volunteers are able to relate to young people, interact with them on an athletic level, and tutor children in their schoolwork.

We also utilize volunteers as greeters at the front desk in our Police Station, assisting in answering telephone calls in the Community Relations office, Senior Lead office, and Operations Support Division. Volunteers also assist in some typing, filing and copying for various offices. At the Community Service Centers volunteers assist officers by taking crime reports and answering questions from the public. We pride ourselves on having very dedicated, sensitive and flexible volunteers. Get involved! Do something productive for yourself and your community!

BECOME AN LAPD WEST VALLEY VOLUNTEER!!!
