Elderly Man's Scooter Stolen

Los Angeles: A thief was caught on a surveillance camera stealing a motorized scooter. Detectives and the elderly victim (82-year-old retiree) are asking for the public's help in locating the thief and the scooter.

As a car was exiting and just before the security gate closed, the thief entered the parking structure. He forcibly removed the scooter which was locked on the trailer of the victim's car and wheeled it away.

The thief was described as a Hispanic male in his 20's with a mustache. He stands about 5' 7" to 5' 9" and weighing 140-150 pounds.
