Mr. Verteym was found deceased on June 9, 2009, at approximately 5:07 p.m., in a parking lot at a local shopping mall.  The victim’s death is still under investigation.

Los Angeles:  A missing person’s families, along with the Los Angeles Police Department, are seeking the public’s assistance in locating 62-year-old Anatoly Verteym who has been missing since June 7, 2009.

Verteym is believed to have left his residence in the middle of the night from 19000 block of the Hamlin Street in Reseda.  It is believed he was driving a 2000 Toyota Corolla, silver color with California license number 4JOK249.

Verteym is described as a white man, 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing about 155 lbs with grey hair and brown eyes.  He has a red birth mark by his right eye. Family members advised that he was depressed due to his medical condition.
