Neighbor Dispute Turns Violent NR19022rh

West Valley: The Los Angeles Police Department and Valley Bureau Homicide detectives are asking for the public’s help in providing any information that would lead to the arrest of the suspect involved in an altercation with 54-year-old Luis Aguilar, a Van Nuys resident.

On January 31, 2019, around 9:30 p.m., West Valley area patrol officers responded to a “415 fight, two males”, radio call in the 7400 block of Woodley Avenue. When officers arrived, they saw Aguilar laying on the ground inside his living room unconscious.

The Los Angeles Fire Department personnel responded and pronounced Aguilar dead at scene.

According to a witness, the suspect forcefully entered Aguilar’s residence and began hitting Aguilar multiple times. The suspect then left the location.

The suspect is described as a male Hispanic.
