Los Angeles – On Tuesday, March 27, 2001 at approximately 3:45 P.M., a fatal traffic collision occurred at the intersection of Sycamore Avenue and 8th Street, in the Wilshire Area. Derrick Wallace, a 37 year-old resident of Moreno Valley, was traveling southbound on Sycamore Avenue at 8th Street in a 2001 Chevrolet Blazer when his vehicle failed to stop at the posted stop sign.
