Jewelry Store Robbers Sought
Los Angeles: A jewelry store was robbed by two gunmen and they were caught on surveillance camera.
On September 29, 2008, at around 3:15 p.m., two suspects entered Gold Star Jewelry located at 587 South Faifax Boulevard. The suspect both drew handguns and pointed them at employees and patrons. While one of the suspects fired a single shot, the other suspect smashed the display cases and removed property. The suspects then ran out of the store.
Both suspects were described as Black men, approximately 25-30 years of age. They were about 5’ 6” to 5’ 8” tall and weighing 150-180 pounds.
Fortunately no one was injured during this brazen take-over robbery. The suspects should be considered armed and extremely dangerous. (This robbery is not believed to be related to a similar robbery that occurred in nearby Beverly Hills.)
Photographs of the suspects are available through Media Relations Section.
