Burglars Caught on Camera NR15076lp

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles
Police Department’s Wilshire Area detectives are asking for the
public’s assistance in identifying the suspects responsible for a
burglary.

On Sunday, March 1, 2015, around
10:00 a.m., the two suspects broke in to a residence in the 600
block of Mansfield Avenue. The two suspects parked in front of the
victim’s home and knocked on the door. The victim did not answer
the door, so the suspects went in to the back yard. One of the
suspects is seen using the victim’s patio furniture to climb up to
the second floor window and enter the house. The second suspect is
seen waiting in the backyard, at times praying and making the sign
of the cross. Once the suspects entered the home, they triggered
the home security alarm and left the residence. They got into their
vehicle and left in an unknown direction.

The victim was at his home at the time of the burglary and
watched the crime unfold on his home security
monitor. The victim ran out of his home
and called the police.

The first suspect is described as a male Black, black hair,
approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing between 140-150
pounds. He was wearing a black shirt and blue jeans. The second
suspect is described as a male black, black hair, approximately 5
feet 10 inches tall, weighing between 150 – 160 pounds. He was
wearing a white shirt with black print, white pants and black
shoes. The suspect’s vehicle was late model silver, 4-door
sedan.
