South Traffic Division Community Education Day

On Wednesday, December 8, 1999, in the Crenshaw Mall, located at 4125 S. Crenshaw Boulevard in front of South Traffic Division, from 10:00 AM until 6:00 PM, LAPD South Traffic Division is having a community event. This educational and fun filled day will include career opportunities with representatives from the City Personnel Department. There are numerous job opportunities that are available with the City of Los Angeles and that information will be provided to you. Some of the features include:

Child Passenger Safety/Car Seat Inspection Check Point
Personal Inspection of your child’s car seat.

Education of Traffic Laws
Learn why the traffic laws we enforce save lives.

New Year’s Eve Gun Fire Suppression Education
The dangers of shooting in the New Year.

Bus Riding Safety Tips
A safe ride is a comfortable ride.

Fats Simulator Introduction and Application
Learn about the Los Angeles Police Departments Shooting Policy.

All events will run on a continuous basis throughout the day for 40 minutes every hour on the hour.

Recruiters for the Los Angeles Police Department and Public Service Representative "9-1-1 Operator" will be available to answer questions about these very exciting and rewarding careers.
