Local law enforcement join efforts to reduce crime

Why:
Officers assigned to LAPD’s Operations-West Bureau and Pacific Area Gang Enforcement Detail (GED) in partnership with several local and state law enforcement agencies will be working on reducing the incidents of gang violence and crime. The coalition will focus their attention in Pacific Area, City of Culver City, and City of Santa Monica.

The coalition is comprised of officers from the following agencies: LAPD, Culver City PD, State Parole, County Probation, California Highway Patrol, Santa Monica PD, General Services PD, LASO-Marina Station, and the Department of Children Services. Approximately 120 officers are dedicated to the success of this mission.

The media is invited to attend roll call. Roll call for his operation is scheduled to commence promptly at 3:00 P.M, it is recommended that the media arrive at 2:30 P.M.
