Murder Suspect Sought

Los Angeles: In the early morning hours on Tuesday, March 9, 2004, the victim, 20 year-old Garen Ketikyan was driving a black 1999 Mercury Grand Marquis northbound on the 170 freeway in North Hollywood. The suspects drove next to the victim’s vehicle near the Sherman Way exit and the passenger suspect leaned out the window and fired several gunshots at the victim, fatally wounding him. The suspects were driving a newer white Ford Mustang with low profile tires, chrome rims and Xenon headlights that give off a blue tint. The suspects continued north on the 170 freeway and merged onto the northbound on the Golden State freeway.
Detectives are releasing a composite drawing of the passenger suspect. This suspect is described as a male Armenian, 20-25 years old, bald with a muscular build.
