Los Angeles: The LAPD is seeking help from the public in identifying the suspect(s) involved in the murder of two men in North Hollywood.

On August 20, 2011, at approximately 1:35 a.m., LAPD North Hollywood patrol officers responded to a shooting in the 8100 block of Coldwater Canyon Boulevard.  The officers arrived on the scene and discovered an unresponsive man in the backyard of a house.  The victim suffered from a single gunshot wound to the head.  LAFD rescue personnel responded and pronounced the man dead at the scene.  It was discovered soon after that a second victim was transported earlier to  Kaiser Panorama City Medical Center and was also being treated for a gunshot wound to the chest.  The victim later succumbed to his injury at the hospital.

Detectives say that the two men were shot following an altercation at the party with a suspect(s) described as a male African American.  The victims have been identified as 22-year-old Wilson Pierre of Los Angeles and 19-year-old Deon Bastian of Fontana.  The motive for this crime appears to be gang related.

In addition, a Sony High Definition hand held camcorder was removed from the party which may contain evidence that could be crucial in identifying the suspect(s) responsible for this crime.
