WHY:
North Hollywood Task Force II is being implemented to reduce the incidence of Part One Crime in the North Hollywood Arts District.  The Arts District has seen an increase in Part One crime this year and the Department is taking steps to make the community safer and more secure and livable.  To assist in greatly reducing the incidence of crime, the Department is asking community members to take an active role alongside the Los Angeles Police Department in “hardening the target.”  This Task Force will leverage the partnership between the growing North Hollywood Arts District community members and the Department.
