$50K Reward Offered for Information Regarding Hit-And-Run Driver NA13146bb

News conference to announce a $50,000 reward that would lead to the arrest and conviction of the hit-and-run driver who caused the death of 35-year-old Michael Bonanomi.

WHY:
On Saturday, August 17, 2013, around 11:45 p.m., a white 2008-2010 Mercedes Benz CL class, 2 door, with black-paper license plates with yellow lettering was traveling east on Ventura Boulevard just east of Fairway Avenue.  Simultaneously, Bonanomi was walking northbound across Ventura Boulevard when he was hit by the Merdedes.  Bonanomi succumbed to his injuries at the collision location.  The hit and run driver fled in the Mercedes eastbound on Ventura Boulevard.

Detectives are searching for any clues they can find to help solve this case. Detectives will be on-hand to talk about the reward, provide updates on the investigation.

A video depicting the tragic incident will be distributed to the media. A photograph of Michael Bonanomi will be on display.
