Family Seeks Help in Finding Missing Woman

Los Angeles: A local family is asking for the public’s help in locating 37-year-old Deidre Douglas who suffers from psychoses and an impulse control disorder.

Ms. Douglas was last seen on September 17, 2007, at about 10:00 a.m., near the Big Lots Plaza located at 162400 Paramount Boulevard in Paramount.

She is described as African American, stands 4 feet 11 inches tall, and weighs 175 pounds. She has black hair, brown eyes and was last seen wearing a black jacket, brown shirt and tan pants. She was carrying a pink purse and normally walks carrying a Walkman and headphones.

According to Douglas’ family members, she frequents fast food restaurants such as Carl’s Jr. and visits MacArthur Park.

Douglas gets easily agitated and may become violent. She speaks in simple sentences and has limited capability of expressing herself. Douglas currently takes medication for diabetes and hypertension.
