Young Man Fatally Stabbed Outside a Condominium Complex – NR16124rh

Van Nuys: The Los Angeles Police Department Valley Bureau Homicide detectives are asking for the public’s help in providing any information that would lead to the arrest of the suspect(s) who killed 24-year-old Luis Rene Luna, a resident of North Hills.

On April 13, 2016, around 1:48 p.m., Van Nuys Area patrol officers responded to a local hospital for a victim of an assault. Officers after meeting with victim conducted a follow-up investigation in the 14300 block of Haynes Street where the stabbing took place.

The investigation revealed that Luna was confronted by the suspect(s) outside a condominium complex. The suspect(s) stabbed Luna and ran away from the location.

A witness transported Luna to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries.

There is no suspect(s) description.
