Shooting in Van Nuys Leaves One Dead NR17262ti

Van Nuys: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Bureau Homicide detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect responsible for killing one and leaving another wounded.

On September 10, 2017, around 11:20 p.m., Van Nuys Division patrol officers responded to an “ambulance shots fired” radio call in the 15200 block of Victory Boulevard. When officers arrived, they found two victims at scene. One victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds, while a second victim sustained a non-threatening gunshot wound to the abdomen.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and pronounced the first victim dead at scene. The second victim was transported to a local hospital where he was treated and released.

The suspect has been described as a male Hispanic, 5 feet 5 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall with a muscular build. He was wearing a white or grey tank top.
