Person of Interest Sought in Beer Heist NR18309ml

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles
Police Department Commercial Crimes Division Detectives are asking
for the public’s help in locating a person of interest in beer
heist.

On Friday, November 30, 2018, Detectives received a phone call from
the owner of delivery company from Turlock, California. The owner
stated the person of interest, Jose Rodriguez, was hired to take
the semi-truck to Van Nuys, California and pick up a load of
beer.

Rodriguez completed the pick-up of the beer, and never completed
the delivery. Over the weekend the owner had numerous text messages
sent by Rodriguez, but the semi-truck was still missing.

Detectives received information late Sunday afternoon of the
location of the truck. The truck was recovered in West Valley
Division with the load of beer kegs. Detectives are requesting any
information that would assist in locating Rodriguez.

Jose Jesus Rodriguez is described as a male, Hispanic, 5’07”, 200
pounds, black hair, hazel eyes.
