Fatal Shooting in Van Nuys NR20035ll

Van Nuys: Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Velley Bureau Homicide Division are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects responsible for the shooting death of two men.

On February 11, 2020 at 11:23 p.m. LAPD Van Nuys Officers responded to a call of a shooting in the 15000 block of Wyandotte Street.

When the officers arrived, they observed a victim laying on top of a second victim on the front porch of the residence. Both appeared to be suffering from gunshot wounds.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to the location and rendered aid, the first victim was pronounced dead at scene. The second victim was transported to a local hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.

Witnesses reported hearing an argument in the front porch of the residence. They heard gun shots and observed 3-4 males running away. The suspects entered a sedan parked on the street. The vehicle drove away east on Wyandotte Street.

This is an active investigation and the victims have not been identified.
