Human Trafficking Suspect & Additional Victims Sought NR20048rc

Van Nuys: The Los Angeles
Police Department’s Van Nuys Vice Unit is asking for the public’s
help in providing any information that would lead to the arrest of
a 32-year-old male involved in human trafficking. In addition, vice
investigators are looking for any additional victims.

On February 12, 2020, around 4:30 pm, an 18-year-old female
contacted officers at Hart Street and Sepulveda Boulevard and said
she was a victim of Human Trafficking. The suspect met the victim
at a liquor store in the city of Victorville, CA. The suspect
glamorized a life of money and travel to the victim. The suspect
knew the victim’s financial situation, home struggles and coerced
her to work as a prostitute. When she refused, the suspect
escalated his aggression by using physical force causing the victim
to fear for her safety, and work as a prostitute at the direction
of the suspect.

The suspect is described as a
32-year-old male black with black hair styled in long dreads. He
has brown eyes. He stands 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs about
175 pounds. He goes by the nickname of “Creole Blood.” He has
tattoos on his abdomen, and frequents the Pomona, Victorville, and
South Los Angeles areas.
