WHAT: Victim’s family of Fatal Hit and Run will offer an additional reward up to $10,000 for any information that leads to an arrest and conviction. The City of Los Angeles is currently offering a reward of $50,000.

Victim Dmitry Pogosyan’s family members will speak to announce the additional reward being offered in hopes of obtaining information that will lead to an arrest and conviction.

WHY: On Wednesday, July 8, 2020, around 8:55 p.m., a vehicle was travelling eastbound on Oxnard Street when it collided with Dmitry Pogosyan, a pedestrian who was crossing Oxnard Street at Cantaloupe Avenue in the city of Van Nuys. The driver failed to stop, render aid, and identify self as required by law. Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and pronounced Dmitry Pogosyan dead at the scene. The hit and run vehicle sustained damages from the collision and left vehicle parts at the scene. Detectives are currently in search of the hit and run vehicle described as a possible gray metallic 2003-2007, Saturn Ion, 4-door. This information is corroborated by video footage obtained from nearby residence.
