Robbers Wearing Monkey and Gorilla Masks Caught on Video NR15008SF

Los Angeles: Robbery
detectives from Wilshire Division released video showing two
suspects committing a brazen daytime robbery.

On Thursday, January 8, 2015, around 12:50 p.m., two suspects
entered a business in the
7800 block of Melrose Avenue. The suspects threatened the store
clerk with two semi-auto hand guns and stole numerous pairs of Nike
Jordan Shoes for women. After the robbery, the suspects left the
scene in a car described as a later model gray Nissan Altima with
4-doors and paper plates.

Suspect #1 is described as a male Black/Hispanic, between 18-25
years-old. He stands approximately 5’07-5’09” tall and weighs
around 150-160 pounds. He is seen on the video wearing a gray
shirt, blue jeans, light blue gloves and a monkey face mask.

Suspect #2 is described as a male Black/Hispanic, between 18-25
years-old. He stands approximately 5’07-5’09” tall and weighs
around 150-160 pounds. He was wearing red shirt, blue jeans, light
blue gloves and a gorilla mask.
