Shooting Leaves One Man Dead in Mid-City NR17266ml

Mid-City: The Los Angeles Police Department’s West Bureau Homicide Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect(s) responsible for the death of a man. On Friday, September 15, 2017, around 11:00 p.m., LAPD Wilshire Officers responded to a call of a shooting at the 2300 block of Cochran Avenue in Los Angeles. When officers arrived, they found a male victim who was unresponsive and suffering from a gunshot wound. The LAFD arrived and pronounced the victim dead at scene.

The name of the victim is being withheld pending notification to next of kin.

Witnesses reported that a group was in the street drinking prior to the shooting.

There are no suspect descriptions, and this homicide is possibly gang related.
