Business Employee Killed During a Robbery NR18179ti

Mid-City: The Los Angeles Police Department and West Bureau Homicide detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects responsible for killing a man.

On July 3, 2018, around 5:30 a.m., Wilshire officers responded to a radio call of a shooting in the 5400 block of Venice Boulevard. When officers arrived, they found the victim inside the business suffering from a gunshot wound and unresponsive. The Los Angeles Fire Department Paramedics responded and pronounced the victim dead at scene.

Los Angeles Police Department West Bureau Homicide detectives were notified and assumed investigative responsibility. This case is being investigated as a Robbery motivated Murder.

The victim has been identified as 52- year-old Akram Hanna, of Los Angeles.

The suspects are described as two male adults, wearing masked or covered faces and gloves. One of the suspects was wearing blue jeans. The suspect vehicle left Eastbound on Venice Boulevard. The vehicle is a new model, white, four door Chevrolet Malibu.
