WHY: On November 6, 2018, around 11:25 p.m., a vehicle traveling southbound on Vine Street collided with 34-year-old French photographer and Los Angeles resident, Corentin Villemeur, as he walked east on Vine Street from the west curb. The driver of a silver 2002 4-door Acura, bearing California license plate 5TBA759, failed to remain at the scene, identify himself and render assistance.
