FUNERAL ASSISTANCE

When a death occurs involving an employee of LAPD or immediate family member, assistance is available in the following areas:

  • Publication of Death and Funeral Notice
  • Selecting a church, mortuary, and cemetery
  • Providing chaplain services
  • Providing Honor Guard services (active sworn. retired, and civilian)
