Sergeant Guillen contracted COVID-19 during the commission of her job duties and succumbed to complications on January 28, 2021.
Sergeant Guillen was born on November 8, 1961, in El Paso, Texas. She was appointed to the Department on April 13, 1998.
Sergeant Guillen is survived by her father, Alonso; mother, Maria; sisters, Veronica and Dolores; and brother, Fred.
