Rememberance
Sergeant Deng was struck and killed by a motorist while assisting at the scene of a prior vehicle crash. Sergeant Deng was transported to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. He died on June 23, 2025.
Sergeant Deng was born on November 1, 1971, in Seoul, Korea. He was appointed to the Department on March 15, 1999.
Sergeant Deng is survived by his wife, Candelaria; stepdaughter, Stephanie; father, Wei Ka; mother, Jen Shu; and brothers, Shiou Yuan and Shiou Nick.
