On December 23, 2000, at approximately 12:05 p.m., the victims were at the “La Cita Bar” located at 2471 Whittier Blvd. The victims confronted the suspect for unknown reasons and engaged in an altercation. During the altercation the suspect produced a handgun and shot all three victims. The suspect then fled the location. One of the victims expired at the scene.
