"Motorist Shot and Left In Critical Condition"

Los Angeles - On Sunday, April 23, 2000 at 2:30 p.m., in the area of 54th Street and San Pedro Street, an altercation ensued between three males in a white, Chevy Van and two males in a red, unknown type vehicle. Both parties then left the location with no further incidents. At 2:40 p.m., the red vehicle drove through the parking lot of the "Food 4 Less Market", located at 54th Street and Main Street with five male occupants, the Chevy Van was also in the parking lot. One of the suspects got out of the red vehicle and the driver of the van exited also. An altercation began and words were exchanged between the victim and suspect.
