Man Pinned By Car

On August 24, 1999, at approximately 1530 hours, a 1997 Toyota truck being driven eastbound the 13500 block of Vanowen St. by Daniel Galvan Baltazar skidded and hit a 29 year old male Hispanic. As the Toyota came to rest, it pressed the victim onto a spool trailer. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. Release of victim's identification is pending notification of next of kin.
