"Shooting Claims 37 Year Old Victim"

Los Angeles - On Tuesday, August 29, 2000 at approximately 9:16 A.M., Southeast Area Patrol officers responded to an ADW Shooting call at 10100 South Vermont Avenue. The body of a 37 year-old male Black was discovered on the street underneath a vehicle parked on the north side of the street. Subsequent investigation by the responding investigators, revealed that the victim was shot in the upper torso by unknown suspects.

The motive for the shooting death is unknown at this time.

The victim's name is being withheld pending notification to the next of kin.
