Detectives Investigate a Homicide

 

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Southeast Detective Division are investigating the murder of James Duffie, 43 years of age.

On Sunday, August 24, 2003, at approximately 11:20 p.m., citizens in the 200 block of east 119th Street heard a gunshot and called the police. The investigation revealed that Duffie was fatally shot while seated in a parked vehicle.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and pronounced the Duffie dead at the scene. The suspects(s) remain outstanding and motive is unknown.
