$25,000.00 Reward Offered

What:
News Conference to Announce Reward

When:
Tuesday, August 28, 2007 2:00 p.m.

Where:
Northeast Station
3353 San Fernando Rd
Los Angeles, Ca. 90065

Who:
Councilmember Eric Garcetti, 13th District
Detective III P.J. Morris, Northeast Homicide Coordinator
Northeast Homicide Detectives 213-847-4261

Why:
On July 21, 2007 at around 8:30 p.m., 15 year old Michael Lezay was walking in the alley in the 1600 block of Baxter Street, in the Echo Park community of Los Angeles, when he was shot and killed by an unknown gunman.

Detectives have not determined a motive for the crime and have no suspect information. They are hoping that a $25,000 reward, being offered by The City of Los Angeles for information leading the arrest and conviction of the suspect(s), will encourage those who have information about the crime to come forward.
