Saturday, December 9, 2000



"Double Shooting Investigation"

Los Angeles: On Friday, December 8, 2000, at approximately 11:10 p.m., the victims, Christopher Aaron Thomas, 20 years old and Samuel Singh, 26 years old, were found severely wounded at Vee's Plaza Liquor City and Deli, located at 7707 South Crenshaw Boulevard, Los Angeles. Both Thomas and Singh were transported by Los Angeles Fire Department Rescue Unit's to a local hospital where they are being treated for their injuries and listed in critical condition

Witnesses stated that they heard several shots coming from the parking lot. Thomas was lying in a parking stall and Singh had staggered inside the storage room of the liquor store where he was found.

The motive for this crime is unknown at this time.

The suspect(s) and weapon remain outstanding.

77th Street Homicide Detectives are conducting the investigation. Anyone with information that may assist in this investigation is asked to contact Detectives Armando Bernal and Richard Jackson at 213-485-1383 or call the Watch Commander at 213-485-2389.
