LAPD Newton Division and Christian Food Center

Why:
The Los Angeles Police Department Newton Division and the Christian Food Center will be providing gifts for the Holidays and food for 26 families. 

Los Angeles Unified School District School Principals, LAUSD Parent Volunteers, Social Workers, and Police Officers nominated the families.  One family has a young son who has been battling cancer for 10 years with no chance of ever recovering.  Another family of seven was relocated to Newton Area when they lost their parents in a tragic accident.
